La Manga strip The La Manga strip streches from Cabo de Palos (Map Ref: P10) to Veneziola (Map Ref: E7), a distance of over 18 kilometres or 11 miles. The La Manga strip is a collection of Hotels, Apartments, Houses, Villas built on a wide sand bar between the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean. Cabo de Palos (Map Ref: P10 and Q9) |

Playa Paraiso (Map Ref: P8) |
 | Playa Paraiso has several bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. A lovely promenade and beautiful sandy beach. Lots of space to claim as your own. Unspoilt beaches and of course the lovely warm waters of the Mar Menor. |
Playa Honda (Map Ref: P8) |
 | Next to Playa Paraiso and the larger of the two. This resort has a lovely feel to it, great beach, relaxed atmostphere and apartment complexes particularly Verdemar3, offering private pool use and gym access all year round. The local nightclub is close and also just far enough away. |
Mar de Cristal and Islas Menores (Map Ref: O6) |

Los Nietos (Map Ref: N4 and O5) |
 | An old fishing village with a large marina. The population of Los Nietos grows rapidly when the warm weather arrives, the town springs to life with bars and cafes appearing before your eyes. The promenade runs the full length of its beach. Los Nietos has a train station, with a line to Cartagena. |
El Algar (Map Ref: P1) |
| As El Algar is inland it has no beach. It is however, a large popular village with shops, bars and restaurants with less "touristy" prices. The beaches and the nightlife surrounding the Mar Menor are only a short drive or taxi ride away. Cartagena is nearby for all your shopping needs. |
