City of Cartagena
Cartagena is a 15 minute drive from Cabo de Palos (Map Ref: P10). Cartagena has excellent shopping - an El Cortes Ingles, several large retail parks including two Carrefour hypermarkets. The centre of Cartagena is pedestrianised. This area leads down to the modern marina/port of Cartagena. An important base for the Spanish Navy. Relax in the marina cafes/bars and watch the world go by after great shopping.

City of Murcia
Murcia is the captial of the region and is a 45 minute drive from Cabo de Palos (Map Ref: P10). Murcia is the 8th largest city in Spain and as such is a typical large city.
