Airports
The three airports serving Murcia offer a very wide choice of regular year round flights to the Murcia area. San Javier (Murcia) is the most central especially for the Mar Menor area. More information is available in the Flights section. Bus stations
Buses run regularly from La Manga to Cartagena and Santiago de la Ribera. During summer months they run 24 hours in La Manga. Local buses run to all villages and towns in the area during the summer area. Taxi
Taxis are plentiful and the easiest way to get around if you do not have your own vehicle. All are reasonably priced and most are high specification vehicles, usually Mercedes or BMW. All officials taxis are white and can be booked in advance or within a few minutes notice. English is widely spoken. Train stations
